Have you ever heard the phrase "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away?" It is one of my favorites -- and it can be one of yours, too. Imagine such a breathtaking moment occurring at your wedding, as all your loved ones are gathered with you in joyful celebration of your wedding day, to witness the release of beautiful snow white doves.

White Rock Doves choose a mate, to whom they remain faithful for life.  They share a commitment, and love being home together.  Following the wedding ceremony, the release of these "love doves" is a perfect and breathtaking way to begin your life together as husband and wife.  As you exit the church, family and friends can assemble to watch the splendor of your love and commitment to one another symbolically take flight on the snow white wings of these doves.  The pair of doves fly off with one another, symbolizing the beginning of your new life together.

RELEASE PACKAGES

A Breath of Heaven: Ceremonial Dove Releases has several Wedding Dove Release Packages for you to choose from, or we can customize a release to fit your needs.

 

The symbolism behind the release of a "Dove Pair":

A dove pair is included with each release package... Doves are symbolic of peace, fidelity, love, and joy. Tradition holds that if a pair of doves are seen on your wedding day, you will have a blessed marriage. During or immediately following the wedding, the bride and groom release a pair of beautiful snow white doves to the heavens. The doves will fly off into the horizon, symbolic of the two of you winging off with one another to begin your new life-adventure together.”   "...a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife and they will become one flesh."  Genesis 2:24, Eph 5:31

 

Our Wedding Packages

1. Following the release of the dove pair, the release of a beautiful flock of doves can signify angels carrying the prayers and best wishes of friends and family into the heavens. The birds also represent beloved friends and family, supportively and joyfully joining the pair in celebration – and escorting the newlyweds into the horizon of an enchanting future together.

2. As the bride and groom become one in marriage, their two separate families become united, as well. Like the married couple and their loved ones, the flock circles in the sky until all have joined together to fly off into the horizon in unity.

"Flock of Angels" (The Pair + a flock of 30 doves)- Members of your wedding party may perform the release, or we can stage a more dramatic affect, executed by our release professionals. With a flock release, the affects are breathtaking!

 

Large & Breathtaking "Flock of Angels" (The Pair + a flock of 60 doves)- The bride and groom release two doves, followed by the release of a stunning 60 doves. Upon attending your rehearsal, we will determine best placement of all birds to create the most dramatic and awe-inspiring release for our bride and groom. This larger flock release makes it easy to accomplish a picturesque and fairy-tale-like "flurry of doves." It is a most breathtaking sight that you and your guests will cherish forever - a beautiful memory for each person to hold on to for the rest of their lives.

We have full confidence in the fairness of our release fees. Extensive efforts have been taken to assess fair costs in comparison with professional dove release prices across the nation, and with consideration for the demographics of the Treasure Valley area. Nationally, you will find our prices are more than fair. This is not just a business: We love & enjoy helping people create lasting memories on their most special of days! 

 

For Indoor Weddings Traditionally, the release would occur outside, following your wedding ceremony. One of our dove handlers will have the release baskets ready and waiting at a pre-designated location just outside the church (such as the front steps). As the bride and groom exit the church and guests have had the chance to assemble someone you have selected reads a poem or appropriate scripture verse you've selected from our collection. We then perform reading, describing the symbolism of the doves...  and then your snow-white dove release is ready to take place!

For Outdoor Weddings:
We time the release to enhance your ceremony.  You select when the release is to occur:  This can be when the couple is pronounced husband and wife, as they kiss, or the dove release can occur in a seperate ceremony of its own, in a nearby location, following the wedding ceremony.

Release Options/Variations (handler will always accompany releases):

	The A Breath of Heaven Doves coordinator/handler can perform a dramatic release of the flock, creating a flurry of doves to surround the newlyweds.
	The bride and groom can release a pair of doves, by hand, from a basket, from a display cage, or from our beautiful wrought-iron, dove-sized Cinderella Coach. Please click on the "Display Cages" link in the left column, for photos of our equipment pieces. "This is a favorite selection of our bridal couples!"
	Though our handler will oversee all events, YOU may choose who can open the large wicker basket(s)/trunk(s) to release the flock!
	The sky's the limit - within limits...let's discuss your own creative ideas!  (we'll always consider your ideas, so long as they are within our policy guidelines for protecting our doves) Photo taken by Devin Turner Congratulations, Tyson & Charisse!
